Substance use disorders (Addiction), influences the individual’s brain and behaviour and leads to an inability to control the use of a legal or illegal drug or medication. Addiction leads to continuous use of the substance despite its adverse effects. Commonly used substances/drugs are; Alcohol, Nicotine (Cigarette), Cannabis, Opioids, Inhalants, Stimulants, Sedatives etc
