Perinatal & Postpartum Psychiatric disorders are common and in general, the prevalence of Psychiatric morbidity in vulnerable individuals increases during the perinatal and immediate postnatal period and requires comprehensive assessment and management by a multidisciplinary team. Common disorders during this period are; Perinatal depression, Postpartum Blues/Depression, Postpartum Psychosis etc
